2023 has been another amazing year in the books for Westcor’s digital marketing and interacting with our audience. Social media users engaged with Westcor nearly 25,000 times this year. From all things title insurance to pop culture references and everything in between, we make sure our “never boring” approach is at the heart of everything we post online. Since 2024 is around the corner, we thought what better way to look back on the year than reflect on 2023’s most-engaging posts.
But what exactly does that mean? What are “engagements” on social media? According to Sprout Social, the metric of “engagements” consists of all reactions, comments, shares, and post clicks. It’s more than just how many “likes” you get on a post. Engagements cover all the ways users interact with a post, better representing how popular the content actually is. To calculate our most-engaging social media posts, I pulled the total number of engagements per post from totals across our Westcor accounts on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X.
