Maitland, FL, September 23, 2019 — Westcor Land Title Insurance Company proudly announces that Dawn Pereyo, New York Regional Manager, has become the President of the New York State Land Title Association.
Dawn Pereyo has been working in the title insurance industry for over 25 years, starting as a closer when she was a graduate student. With rich work experiences, a deep understanding of the industry from both an agent and underwriter side, as well as an ability to forecast industry trends, she has maintained a strong leadership role in the title insurance industry.
“Dawn is the perfect person to represent the title insurance industry for the state of New York”, said Scott Chandler, COO of Westcor Land Title Insurance Company. “The combination of her leadership and industry knowledge will make a huge impact for the NYSLTA.”
She has been involved in the New York State Land Title Association for almost 10 years, starting on the Education Committee, and has served as an officer for three years – two years as Treasurer and one as Incoming President. She also currently co-chairs the Advocacy Committee.
“It’s a challenging time for the Title Insurance Industry in New York right now, and I’m honored to be leading the NYSLTA in its efforts to support the hard working men and women in the industry,” said Pereyo.
Ben is an Orlando, FL native. He has been with Westcor since 2015. Ben graduated from the University of Florida and is a graduate of Florida A&M University College of Law. Before coming to Westcor, he was in-house counsel with the Florida Association of Realtors. He is admitted to practice in Florida.
