Maitland, Fla. (June 1, 2026) – Westcor Land Title Insurance Company® is proud to announce global credit rating agency AM Best has assigned the underwriter a Financial Strength Rating of A-(Excellent) and a Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of “a-” (Excellent).

According to AM Best in a press release, “the ratings reflect Westcor’s balance sheet strength, which AM Best assesses as very strong, as well as its adequate operating performance, neutral business profile and appropriate enterprise risk management.”

The agency noted that Westcor’s balance sheet strength is supported by the company’s strongest level of risk-adjusted capitalization, as measured by Best’s Capital Adequacy Ratio (BCAR), in addition to surplus growth driven primarily through internally generated capital from profitable underwriting, investment, and overall operations.
