John Baumbick

John is Agency Representative/National Underwriting Counsel for Westcor Land Title Insurance Company. Prior to joining Westcor, Mr. Baumbick served as National Underwriting Counsel for Fidelity National Agency, Corporate Counsel for CrossCountry Mortgage Inc., and Corporate Counsel and Senior Underwriting Counsel for First American Mortgage Solutions. There, he provided legal and underwriting support on residential and commercial transactions to lenders, title agencies, and internal operations nationally.

John also worked across various business lines, including Originations, Refinance, Home Equity, Loss Mitigation, REO/Default. During his 24 years of experience, he has also chaired committees and led various initiatives. He is a licensed attorney in the State of Ohio. Mr. Baumbick received his B.A. degree from Ohio University and his J.D. degree from the Capital University Law School (Columbus, OH).

Andie Romness

Andie Romness is the Head of National Partnerships at Closinglock, the leading fraud prevention and digital payments provider for the real estate industry. She works closely with attorneys, underwriters, and industry partners on the front lines of real estate fraud, turning those insights directly into the tools that protect them. Through her work, Closinglock has expanded its fraud prevention reach to thousands of title agents and real estate lawyers nationwide.

Andie regularly presents at national industry conferences, webinars, and CLE courses, equipping professionals with strategies to stay ahead of an ever-evolving
threat.

Before joining Closinglock, Andie was the Head of Platform and Community at TXV Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm, where she built the strategic partnerships that fueled the growth of the firm’s portfolio companies. She also managed high-value corporate partnerships at Austin FC, Major League Soccer’s 27th expansion team, closing major national deals and driving significant sponsorship revenue. Her earlier career includes working directly with high-profile professional athletes such as Lindsey Vonn, Christian McCaffrey, Madison Keys, and Mikaela Shiffrin.

Andie is a proud alumna of the University of South Carolina, where she was a four- time SEC All-Academic Honor Roll recipient, a four-year starter, and team captain of a nationally top-10-ranked Division I women’s soccer team. When not helping title agents and partners protect their clients, Andie enjoys exploring Austin’s live music scene and cheering on the Gamecocks.

Natalie Koonce

Natalie Koonce is the Mountain States Region Manager for Westcor Land Title Insurance Company, overseeing operations and agency relationships across a nine-state region. A Colorado native, Natalie brings more than 30 years of experience to the real estate, title, and escrow industry.

Throughout her career, she has served in leadership roles ranging from Escrow Officer and Branch Manager to Division President, National Escrow Advisor, and Regional Executive. Her experience includes working with independent agents, Real Estate agents, lenders, builders, attorneys, and title professionals in both local and national organizations.

Natalie is passionate about helping real estate professionals better understand title insurance, risk management, and the closing process so they can protect their clients and build stronger businesses. Please join me in welcoming Natalie Koonce.

Perla Aparicio

Perla Aparicio is a Partner Account Manager at CertifID, where she builds andstrengthens strategic relationships that help protect real estate transactions from fraud. With a background spanning real estate technology and fintech, including partner roles at Paymints.io and Qualia, Perla brings a growth-focused, collaborative approach to every partnership, empowering teams through education and enablement programs that make fraud prevention approachable and actionable. She is based in Houston, Texas.

Richard Bramhall

Richard Bramhall is Chief Underwriting Counsel for Westcor Land Title Insurance Company. He is responsible for coordinating overall underwriting policy, providing national underwriting guidance, establishing uniform policies and procedures for Westcor contracts, and issuance of legal bulletins.

A veteran of the multi-state title industry, Bramhall was the original Title Agency Counsel for Chesapeake Appraisal & Settlement Services, one of the first lender-owned Vendor Management companies. From December 2001 until joining Westcor in February 2012, he served as Chief Title Officer at Bank of America, where he provided title underwriting guidance for the LandSafe Services Division. While at Bank of America, Bramhall served as an instructor for the MBA School of Mortgage Banking and also developed and conducted Title Training classes at several of the Bank’s Loan Centers. He is a member of ALTA’s Title Counsel Committee and an adviser on the ALTA Forms Committee. Bramhall is a Past President of the Property Records Industry Association (PRIA) and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Services Providers Council (RESPRO). He is a graduate of Princeton University and Emory University School of Law.

Anthony Messineo brings more than 25 years of title insurance industry experience to his role as Audit Director at Westcor, a position he has held since 2005. A Certified Fraud Examiner since 2002, Anthony specializes in audit, compliance, fraud prevention, and risk management. He has been actively involved with the American Land Title Association (ALTA) Internal Audit Committee since 2004 and has contributed to the development of assessment procedures used to evaluate compliance with ALTA Best Practices. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance from the University of Central Florida.
