Through Westcor Gives, we use our connections in local neighborhoods where our agents do business and provide opportunities to give back. Let’s highlight a few more organizations the good humans of Westcor contributed to—whether financially or with time—in 2022.

JAR of Hope

Operating out of Asbury Park, New Jersey, JAR of Hope is dedicated to funding and finding a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).

This genetic disorder, characterized by muscular degeneration, affects 30,000 boys worldwide (20,000 in the U.S. alone). It’s a tragic disease that makes even simple movements painful and progressively worsens over time.

We are proud to contribute to this organization as they seek to eliminate DMD and provide care and support for these boys and their families battling it.

The Home Partnership Foundation

An independent 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2008, The Home Partnership Foundation strengthens communities across Idaho by helping people build a solid foundation for their lives through stable, safe, affordable housing.

The Home Partnership Foundation provides emergency homeless shelter, transitional housing programs, and assistance to at-risk individuals and families to avoid evictions. We’re grateful to partner with this foundation to improve the lives of Idahoans needing housing services and resources.

2022 Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk Where You Are

Westcor contributed to the 2022 Komen More Than Pink Walk Where You Are event by the Susan G. Komen organization. This unique, all-day walk raised over $760,000 towards breast cancer research, care, community support, and advocacy.

Participants of the Walk Where You Are event were encouraged to walk for those who can’t—those too weakened by treatment to join in, those who are suffering, and those who have lost their battle with breast cancer.

ALTA Good Deeds Foundation

No Westcor Gives recap would be complete without the ALTA Good Deeds Foundation. Founded in 2020 by our fearless leader, Mary O’Donnell, this incredible foundation awards grants to local organizations supported by ALTA members through a competitive application process.

In 2022, we were proud to help Good Deeds reach their goal of $1 million in donations!

With a new year upon us, we can all do our part to support incredible organizations like these in our communities and beyond. The title industry is special. Not just because of its mission, but because it’s made up of the most generous, driven and community-minded individuals on the planet.

Here’s to another great year of service in 2023!
