About Mary

Mary O’Donnell is known as an innovator, respected leader, and genuine trailblazer in the title insurance industry. Her passion is to create and build businesses, which is exemplified by her success in transforming a small regional title business into a national billion-dollar corporation. She is a leader, collaborator, and visionary who has led companies into the digital age, streamlined industry processes, and strengthened regulatory compliance practices.

Her expertise in strategic planning, creating principled processes, and providing strong leadership has set her apart as one of the leading CEO’s in the industry. She brings business acumen and a focus on the future to AgentHome where she is building core business strategies for a network of next generation of independent title agents.

Mary was born in Liverpool, England and graduated with honors from the University of Sheffield College of Law, Yorkshire, England. Before joining the title insurance industry, she practiced real estate law in New York. She is licensed to practice law in both New York and Florida and is a member of each state’s bar association.

Achievements

Mary is the past President of the American Land Title Association where she represented the industry before Congress and other elected officials, educating them about the critical role independent title agents play in the real estate transaction. In 2020, she was named Housingwire’s Women of Influence.

Legacy

Mary’s passion for philanthropy was channeled into The ALTA Good Deeds Foundation, a not-for-profit organization she founded to provide charitable grants to 501(c)(3) organizations.
